The Waterproof Dry Boat Bag 100Liter is easy to fold and open

Almost every catastrophic bag failure a buyer ever hears about starts in the same place: the point where a strap, a handle or a D-ring meets the body panel. Fabric rarely tears in the middle. Zippers rarely split down the chain. What fails is the anchor — the few square centimetres of welded patch, bar-tack or webbing loop that has to transfer the entire weight of a loaded bag into a flexible wall, thousands of times, at loads that are never steady and never predictable. That is why a static pull test, however impressive the number it produces, is a poor predictor of field returns. A joint that survives a single 80 kg pull can still fail at 400 cycles of an 8 kg dynamic jolt, because fatigue and peak strength are different physics.

Sealock is a kayak bag manufacturer in China supplying OEM, ODM, and wholesale buyers worldwide. A kayak is the hardest environment a soft bag routinely faces: the hull sits low in the water, the cockpit and hatches are open to spray, rain and wake, and a capsize turns "water-resistant" into a claim the customer tests personally. A kayak bag has to do three things an ordinary bag cannot — stay dry when fully submerged, float when it comes loose, and compress and lash down so it doesn't move. This overview covers how those requirements translate into construction, the range, and the sourcing terms.
